Thank you Molly for your dedication to health and love. Being god-sent is a such a weird path. As a member of a family system steeped in addiction I know what a full time job it is to stay centered and healthy. I believe in illuminating the Motherboard of the Imagination in hope inducing ways. Religion can do that. Art. Dance. Love. And. When the brain can’t find the light, we need all the magic we

can get. I was supportive when one of my family members was professionally assisted on a mushroom journey. She was 9 months into recovery. I’ve seen nothing but progress ever since.

I have an adult son with schizoaffective disorder. He has experienced paranoia from cannabis. You didn't mention treating people with schizophrenic disorders but I think the serious brain disorders should be excluded.

Ii also have an adult son suffering from paranoid schizophrenia triggered and worsened by cannabis. Since ths is uncurable how could more mind altering drugs help him. He is now in jail and may be sent to prison soon for burglary which he did "in seeking refuge from people trying to kill him." He is delusional, but highly intelligent. His half sister is also schizophrenic, but violent. His father is bipolar.

I am so sorry to hear about your adult children--there are definite serious considerations and/or exclusions for people with certain mental health diagnoses and histories. This is something I will learn more about in the training program! Prayers ascending for all of these people you love, who are in the throes of suffering, and for all whom their brain chemistry affects.

Well, that’s a beautiful goal: to help people feel glad to be alive.

Anecdotally, I’ve noticed that psychosis-prone genetics make people more susceptible to cannabis-induced psychosis. I’ve wondered/worried about this with psilocybin — if some people would be more prone to negative experiences of psychosis during a trip based on genetics and family history. I think about it too with the legal high-dose cannabis version of a trip you mentioned. I wonder if personal and family history of psychosis is a consideration in the work and its potential effectiveness.

And I love the queen addition to the maiden-mother-crone archetype, which I bet you’ve seen. When you’re not quite yet a crone, you’re a queen! :)

I did just recently hear about the *queen* insertion into this progression, and I'm here for it! ;) And yes--these journeys can be very risky for anyone with a history of psychosis/psychotic break or certain mental health conditions. I'm looking forward to learning more. I also know people with a complex MH history who have done this work very successfully, with good guardrails and medical advice.

This is so important: "to help other people feel glad to be alive.". It is really hard to feel that sometimes, many times for a lot of people. Wouldn't it be amazing if there was something that could really help with that? Depression, anxiety can be so life draining, and of course we heap guilt on ourselves for "not getting over it". We can believe God's heart of love and affirmation, but that doesn't necessarily make the struggling go away. Thank you for caring, for exploring and for being willing to share that with those around you. I sincerely pray this will be a truly enriching, amazing time of learning & developing for you. And peace. May God give you peace to know your being and sharing you matters. Thank you.
